Spinosaurus?

 Spinosaurus?

Many people confuse the Spinosaurus and the Irritator, but if you can spot these differences you may be able to tell the difference between these relatives. But Spinosaurus had other relatives that looked like it.

1. Irritators were much smaller

Irratators could grow up to 26ft (8m) long, while the Spinosaurus could grow up to 59ft (19m) long! That's double its length. Now you know which was bigger. Let's move on to the next difference.

2. Irritators had smaller sails

Once again, Irritators had smaller features such as the sail on its' back which is basiclly as tall as a toddler.  The sail of the Spinosaurus was as tall as an adult basketball player.

3. Spinosaurus was heavier

The Spinosaurus weighed approximately 7 metric tons and the Irratator weighed approximately 1 metric ton.

4.They lived in different places

The Irritator lived in South America (current day Brazil) while the Spinosaurus lived in North Africa.

Those are all the differences for now.  Soon we will list more. Thanks for reading!
